Recurring Daydreams

A departure from my generative software practice, these digital animations were created by hand during the most isolated stretch of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a child, I made flipbooks by drawing one frame at a time on scraps of paper. In revisiting this process with a digital tablet, I found a similar sense of focus

Drawing from imagination, and relying on repetition, these simple vignettes became a meditative escape.
